We handle all kinds of personal injury cases including, but not limited to:

  1. Auto accidents
  2. Slips and falls
  3. Medical malpractice

If you are involved in an accident, do not leave the accident scene without having the police come to write a report. Often times, police officers do not like to write a report, especially if the accident seems minor. However, it is always in your best interest to insist that a police report be written. Make sure you get the name, address, and telephone number of the other driver. Do not rely on the police officer to get this information for you. You should always do the same when it comes to witnesses of the accident even if those witnesses were passengers of the other vehicle.

Get photographs! Photographs of both vehicles would be ideal. However, it is often difficult to get photos of the other driver’s car. At a minimum, make sure that you get clear photographs of the damage to your vehicle from all angles. I suggest that people take an entire roll of film.

Insurance? You should also get the otehr driver’s insurance information, including their policy number and the name of their insurance company. Do not rely on the police officer to get this information for you. It is also important that you call an attorney right away before speaking with anyone from the insurance company.

Injured? If you think that you may be injured, go to the emergency room. It is better to be safe than sorry. If you are involved in an accident and do not go to the emergency room, only to later suffer from a great deal of pain, someone might call into question the veracity of your claim.
